We are committed to giving you peace of mind, and part of that commitment includes being registered with the NHBRC. The National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) is a government-approved body that holds home builders and developers accountable for delivering homes of good quality.
The Housing Consumers Protection Measures Act of 1998 mandated its creation in 1998. (Act No. 95 of 1998).
Their job is to look out for the best interests of homebuyers (you) by policing the construction industry (us) for adherence to the guidelines laid out in the Home Building Manual.
Failure to register as required by law is a crime punished by law, and everyone engaged in the business of building houses must do so. Those who have demonstrated technical proficiency, work experience, and financial stability in the building business are awarded NHBRC certification.
All new houses must be registered with the NHBRC at least 15 days before building begins, according to the Act.
